Did you know turtles can live up to 200 years? These shelled reptiles are mainly herbivorous, but also enjoy eating snails, earthworms, and insects. When they sense danger, they quickly retract their head and legs into their shell for protection. Baby turtles are born with a lighter, softer shell, but it hardens as they grow. Female turtles lay eggs and bury them in soil, where they are incubated until hatching. The PVC-free Bullyland play figure stands at approximately 6cm tall and is hand-painted to resemble a real turtle. It has been awarded the "spiel gut" seal of approval. Recommended for ages 3 and up.
